The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) invites online applications from eligible Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in various subjects for both Rest of Haryana (ROH) Cadre and Mewat Cadre. Application Process:

  1. Online Registration:
    • Candidates must register online by visiting HPSC Registration Portal or through the HPSC Website.
    • Upon registration, a login ID will be created. Candidates need to complete the registration process using this login ID.
    • Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), Aadhar Number, and Virtual ID (VID) are required for Aadhar authentication during biometric attendance.
  2. Application Submission:
    • After completing the registration, candidates can apply against the respective advertisement as per their qualifications.
    • The application form must be duly filled and submitted after payment of the requisite fee.
    • Candidates should take a printout of their application form, check it thoroughly, sign it, and upload it to complete the application process.
  3. Fee Payment:
    • The application fee can be paid online. Only after the payment is made, the application will be considered complete.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. General Conditions:
    • Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for the post.
    • Admission to the recruitment process will be provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
    • Mere issuance of e-Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that their candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.
    • Eligibility will be assessed based on documents submitted after qualifying for the interview.
  2. Educational Qualifications:
    • Common Qualifications for All Posts:
      • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
      • Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) / School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
      • Consistent good academic record.
    • Subject-wise Qualifications:
      • PGT Biology: M.Sc. Zoology/Botany/Bio-Sciences/Bio-Chemistry/Genetics/Micro Biology/Plant Physiology/Bio-Technology/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university. The candidate must have studied Botany and Zoology at the graduation level.
      • PGT Chemistry: M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Commerce: M.Com. with accounting/cost accounting/financial accounting as a major subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university. Holders of degrees in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible.
      • PGT Economics: M.A. Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT English: M.A. English with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Fine Arts: M.A. Fine Arts with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Geography: M.A. Geography with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Hindi: M.A. Hindi with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT History: M.A. History with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Home Science: M.Sc. Home Science with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Mathematics: M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of the subjects at graduation level with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Music: M.A. Music with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Physical Education: M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks and B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed. or equivalent from a recognized university.
      • PGT Physics: M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics/Electronics Science/Electronics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Political Science: M.A. Political Science or Public Administration with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Psychology: M.A. Psychology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Sanskrit: M.A. Sanskrit with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Sociology: M.A. Sociology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Urdu: M.A. Urdu with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
      • PGT Punjabi: M.A. Punjabi with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
  3. Experience:
    • Experience requirements vary by subject and are specified in the detailed advertisement on the HPSC website.
  4. Age Limit:
    • Candidates should be within the age limit as specified by the HPSC guidelines for the respective posts.

Selection Process:

  1. Screening Test (if applicable):
    • A screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.

    • Candidates who qualify in the screening test (if applicable) will be called for an interview.

  • Preferences: Candidates are required to give their preference for Cadre (ROH/Mewat). If a candidate fails to give their preference, ROH will be treated as the first preference and Mewat as the second preference.
